High Altitude Balloon Launch - Rogue Valley Earth Day, Saturday April 23rd

Club members from both Southern Oregon Skywatchers and Grants Pass Astronomers are working with students at North Medford High School to launch a high altitude balloon that will photograph the Solar Eclipse in 2017. The team will launch a test balloon, track it, and hopefully retrieve it on Earth Day, Saturday April 23rd. The launch will take place around Noon at the Rogue Valley Earth Day celebration at ScienceWorks in Ashland.
