Southern Oregon Skywatchers is excited to return with a meeting from a distance.

We will have an online ZOOM meeting on the third Wednesday, October 21st.

North Medford High School Student Tara Phillis will present on the Pine Mountain Observatory Summer Workshop. In the past students have worked with Astronomers to do real Astronomy. From Calculating orbits of Asteroids, Studying radio Astronomy, Spectroscopy, and various other astronomical measurements.

Colin White the local NASA Solar System Ambassador will present “Viewing and Exploring the Moon”
In this presentation Colin White will explore tools and techniques for viewing and exploring the Moon at home in both a physical and virtual environment.
