October Star Party - open to members October 26th

Meet us at Dusk at the Lower Dark Site.

Public community members - We will offer several observing nights again in the spring and summer.

Due to the increasing amount of broken glass and shotgun shells at the upper site - we are testing out the lower site for the next few observing sessions. This site is behind a locked gate, is closer with less windy roads late at night, and offers nice dark skies.

Bring your scope and list of targets..
Please. Be sure to Dress warm. Coats, Hats, Gloves, Blankets  The Temperature can drop at 3000 ft especially if it is windy.  Please the use of red lights is encouraged.

This is the gravel pit near where the trail head for Grizzly Peak is located.
